Optimising Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis
(A Scientific Insights Report)
The attached report is based on a lecture and poster presentation by Dr. Michael Cork at Dermatology Update 2003 in Montreal, Canada.
|
Overview:
Dr. Cork presented his findings that the combination of emollients and topical corticosteriods can have a profound steriod sparing effect. In his clinic he has found that the use of moderately potent topical corticosteriods combined with emollients can effectively manage mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.
